On the afternoon of November 19 local time, a side event themed “Green and Low-Carbon Actions of Central SOEs Under the Dual-Carbon Goals” was successfully held at the China Pavilion during the 30th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Belém, Brazil.
On November 26, CECEP convened a special meeting to plan and advance its work on artificial intelligence. After hearing reports on progress in AI-related work, the meeting made detailed arrangements.

On the afternoon of May 15, the Group convened a plenary meeting of the Leading Group of the CECEP Yangtze River Economic Belt Pollution Control Platform to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and directives on promoting high-quality development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, review and deliberate on the Three-year Action Plan for the Yangtze River Protection drafted by CECEP, and deploy key tasks for the next phase.
?On May 12, Liao Jiasheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CECEP, welcomed Zhao Zhibin—member of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee, director of the Organization Department and leader of the city’s Seventh Investment Promotion Delegation—and his entourage to CECEP Headquarters. The two sides held in-depth discussions on pragmatic cooperation in infrastructure development, clean energy supply, waste and refuse treatment, and innovation in green finance.
On April 24, two infrastructure projects constructed by China Geo-engineering Corporation– the 12-city Water Supply Project in C?te d’Ivoire and the Marakabei-Monontsa Asphalt Road Upgrade Project in Lesotho – were selected as 2024 "Small yet Impactful" Model Demonstration Projects by the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA).
